Privacy
Privacy is an operating responsibility.
Real estate can involve deeply personal information. Our approach is simple: collect less, keep the purpose narrow, protect what is entrusted to us, and never confuse access to information with permission to use it however we want.
This notice applies to the Blaqline Properties public website.
Authenticated products, resident workflows, applications, payments, or other future systems may require additional privacy notices and controls before they are introduced.
Collect less.
Our default is to collect only the information that has a clear purpose. We do not believe more data is automatically better, and we do not want sensitive information simply because technology makes it possible to collect it.
Use information for the reason it was shared.
If you contact us, we may receive information such as your name, email address, message, and anything you intentionally include. We use that information to understand the inquiry, communicate with you, and handle the matter for which it was provided.
Technical data should stay technical.
Like most websites, hosting and security infrastructure may process limited technical information such as IP address, browser or device information, request data, timestamps, and diagnostic logs. We do not treat ordinary website activity as permission to build an advertising profile about you.
Sensitive information deserves a higher bar.
Please do not send Social Security numbers, passwords, banking credentials, government identification, medical information, or other highly sensitive records through an ordinary website inquiry or unsecured email unless we have specifically provided an appropriate way to handle that information.
Sharing should have a reason.
We do not sell personal information. Information should only be disclosed when there is a legitimate operational need, an appropriate professional or service provider needs it to perform authorized work, the person involved has directed or authorized the disclosure, or disclosure is otherwise required by law.
Housing decisions require human responsibility.
Blaqline does not treat personal information as raw material for unsupervised housing decisions. Website inquiries are not used to independently automate housing eligibility, leasing, pricing, eviction, or other consequential decisions. Appropriate human review, authority, and context remain required.
Keep it only as long as it has a purpose.
Information should not be retained indefinitely simply because storage is inexpensive. Retention should reflect the reason the information was collected, operational and recordkeeping needs, applicable obligations, security considerations, and whether continued retention remains justified.
Ask us.
If you have a privacy question, want to understand how information you provided is being handled, or want to make an applicable access, correction, or deletion request, contact us. We would rather answer the question than make you guess.
